Stench

Stench

I walked into the lecture hall and sat down when Lai Meng asked,

"You had pasta?"

"How you know?!"

"You smell of garlic."

I brought my palms to my nose and sure enough, it was more than just a whiff of garlic stench. I spent an hour peeling and chopping garlic so that my family would have ready-chopped garlic, a daily essential for cooking, to use whenever they need it. And I did shower before going to school. Till now, there's still a faint smell on my palms.

An al dente aglio olio, is not easy.
