4tH pLaCe

i don't think it's that bad after all.. captain's ball not only let me improve my ball sense, also bonded S Rules even tighter. :)

these few days are straining, but happy. how can i start? it's so much details to share. haha..

after we got in the 2nd round, we were more than enthu to train up than ever.. but too bad we had micro test on thursday, so training wasn't on anyway.. if not we'll be heading down to sports complex and train our passing and stuff.. micro was fine except that i figured out that i made some blunders here and there but i don't think much of it la.. BOO.

friday.. after lms we strolled over to atruim to get some slippers.. sze's mum actually accidentally threw away my slippers!!! and i had to get new ones instead.. haha.. so got some purple ones.. wanted to get brown but no size.. wanted a colour that was dirt free, but i settled on purple instead.. hmm.. then gab bought jigsaw.. i had already bought 2 boxes and completed one, then saw that there were new designs on eeyore.. so i bought another one as well.. haha!! got 3 pouches that i had to cross stitch the pictures myself.. and we (thea, sze, cole, and me) actually psychoed gab to buy one also! LOL.. i wonder how he's gonna manage with the cross stitch man.. haha!

headed down to sports complex after that started an internal competition among us lor.. but i thought that was kind of wasting time.. coz we weren't doing proper passes and our ball sense wasn't that sensitive.. kian was actually sleeping while we trained lor!! -argh- haha.. how i wish i can sleep as well.. it was no joke running around under the hot scorching sun.. so when cole left at around 4 plus to work, we rested and gab decided that we should start on proper training la.. he figured out that our defence was koyak and really needed to work on that.. as well our counter attack wasn't quick and steady enough.. we also violated too much footwork during the previous matches which cost us much lost opportunites to score.. we won the previous 2 matches by 1-0 and 2-1.. which was like sheer luck la.. haha.. so we started on some passes, which gab later taught us (me, sze and thea.. it's always only us) how to really mark your opponent properly.. like positioning yourself perpendicularly to the opponent and the one with the ball so that you can see both sides at a time.. and if you're the one being marked, how to make use of your physical body to lean against the marker and call for ball.. stuff like that.. i didn't knew there sooo much tactics into such ball stuff.. hmm.. after that we practised counter attacking but my footwork always fail me.. i tend to travel with the ball.. and we were quite distracted by magnum's force's cheers la.. until gab motioned us to concentrate when he suddenly blurted "eh that girl's skirt dropped!".. *_* we were like rolling our eyes la.

we trained till 9.30pm and i finally reached home at around 10.30pm.. which i fell asleep immediately.. haha.. woke up and bought breakfast for my teammates the next day, as we decided to meet early and have some last minute training or passes before our matches start.. practising to shoot some loopballs really high so that defenders can't touch it la.. then it was time to register and start our game.. although we won the game against 1T03 by 1-0.. we were feeling crap coz it wasn't as good as we expected.. worse came when we played against Zees as they were quite strong and we lost 4-0 la.. as we were playing right, 1T03 was cheering for Zees.. which i thought that they were quite a bunch of sore losers.. the 'cool' part was when Zees played against 1T03, in the middle of the game both parties started quarrelling and calling each other bitches.. i was sniggering.. who were the ones cheering each other on earlier man! LOL.. throw face sia.. although we got only 4 points but we still managed to enter the game to fight for bronze.. and lost.

although we scraped a 4th place, we were happy about it because we've worked hard, bonded and from negative ball sense to SOME ball sense.. although we've so much wanted the top 3 positions (and the fila stuff :P) and we didn't get it, we stood united and that feeling was simply great. i love that. i'm sure all of us felt that satisfied..

that's not the end.. when everybody else has gone home for lunch or wad.. we actually stayed back.. for wad? just to cheer and relax.. played with water.. splashed each other.. haha.. and we really did cheer and screamed our lungs out la.. did stupid stuff like friendship dance and pepsi-cola-123.. haha! bonding is great. and how can i forget about the telematch on the field? only us.. haha!! piggybacking each other and doing somersaults.. we WON!!!!! gab.. your somersault is lousy! haha!!! :P

then we were deciding where to celebrate.. marina curry? steamboat? or bbq.. were settling on bbq when the weather suddenly turned dark.. so we decided on steamboat where all the food is prepared and we can start eating immediately.. so took cab from school and proceeded there, bargained with the uncle about prices and started eating.. when anthea dirtied my shirt and stuff.. to be actual, i seriously thought she dirtied every other one's shirt sitting near our area.. lol.. went over to kian's side (he was at another steamboat restaurant, different from ours) as he asked me to taste his soup. it was like shit la. haha and i helped in counting saga seeds which they later tried to boil it and see if it can be eaten.. while checking.. they lost the seed in the soup so the whole pot was inedible.. LOL.. i laughed like hell.. we went arcade later and i won kian in daytona!!! he was like boasting to me that he's gonna thrash me.. hmm.. actions speak louder than words. LOL..

went to esplanade after that.. and we (kian, his fren, teck soon i think and me) counted saga seeds AGAIN. count count count when we go frustrated and decided to just grab a handful and go home. hahahaha, lame ass they are.. but i pestered them to go home la, so that i have someone to wait for cab with me.. and kian and teck soon insisted on sending me home so yeah!! i don't have to go home alone! =) reached home at around 12 plus near 1am.. flopped onto my bed right after bathing.. i din even bother to wait for my hair to dry.. haha..

went to school today to do my cip e learning, but only managed to finish a namecard.. one more flyer to go.. so i think i better stop blogging.. it's a long post over here so thanks for reading yeah?

*at this moment, after the competition has been over for more than 24 hours, gab is still telling me how proud he is feeling of us.. "how often can you find girls who train captain's from 12pm to 9.30pm???" hmm, i guess we girls were really great! haha!!!*

i'm having problems walking, with my calf muscles aching due to excessive training, but these pain remind me of the hard work we've put in and it's worth it.. if it's gonna take me a year to take part in captain's again with the same team, i gladly would..

i love my team and i think this wouldn't be the last time we're gonna play together again. in fact, we're going to play badminton this coming fri after lms.. =)

在我地盘这儿 你就得听我的儿

i had wanted to just go to sleep tonight without blogging, but it's impossible to hide the excitement and exhilaration in my heart without letting it out.

WE GOT IN SECOND ROUND FOR CAPTAIN'S!!!

ok i know it's no big deal you might think, but it was really BIG for all of us.

i wanted to tell u all about the details, but i thought that you all might not understand what i'm talking, so forget it.

we've been training in the hot sun la, rather last minute but it was hard effort and i bet no one paid as much attention to this as us. so i'm damn proud of my team.

although we weren't that organised and our counter attack skills wasn't there yet, we worked hard!!! so training hasn't come to naught!!! yeah!!

love ya all guys! you all rock!! feast if we win!

still feast if we lose!! LOL.. *choi!*

jEffY jEfFY jeFFy jefFY!!!!

oh my gawd. jeff wang.

saw him loads today. but i simply didn't have the courage to go up to him and take a snap. thea even kind of forced me till i blushed. but, hai.

now i regret!!! ARGH!!!!! -clenches my fists and box into the air furiously-

i feel like slapping myself.. but never mind.. i'll get my chance.. SOMEDAY -cross fingers-

he's SOOOO DAMN CUTE!!!!!

oh well, i better stop harping on that.. get down to work.

i've been really busy with projects lately, and it's interesting to work if you actually have an interesting project to start on. mythical creatures are interesting, and i'm getting hooked onto it. i might be able to tell you all about centaurs and phoenix, and perhaps thestrals and hippogriffs as well. NOW that's fun.

we've come up with some ideas to get the audience involved in our presentation and involvement is the word, and which that means that THEY need not ask questions.. we could ask them instead rite? (that's a hint on what we're going to do, so no plagiarising PLEASE!!! OUR IDEA!!! TAKEN!!!!) tmr's my practice speech and i haven't even thought of what topic i'm going to touch on.. probably i'm going to speak about my proj stuff but all the surprise will be gone... hai~ i've yet to do cip slides, that goes to show how much time and effort i'm spending on my ocom project (and shopping).. but i think after this week and week 13 we're gonna be quite free, so i'm already starting to plan my next kbox visit..

tmr's my final theory test, and i know nuts about it.. i merely browsed through the very think(compared to the basic theory one) book today and realised it was more of a common sense.. so i guess i just have to bluff my way through.. bless me then.

that leaves me with ocom, cip and lms project presentations, and all should be done by next weekend hopefully.

went retailing after dinner, and spent around $50. *_*

-- black lacey camisole top
-- secret garden peach blusher
-- mum's top (shared with mavis)

have to get back to my project/final theory book/sleep/cold coffee..

see ya all peeps!

projects. -sigh-

at least for projects, i can work and work and still work on it.

feeling dratsy about something, which i do not really wanna disclose.

it's just another wave of melodramatic feelings tiding over me, and i think i'll be ok by tmr.

it's just that i don't know when the next one will come.

when will this FINALLY be over?! i'm getting sick of feeling like this whenever i see it.

ARGH.

i'm beginning to assume that yellow is actually my lucky colour, contrary to what the media-influenced-fortune-tellers claim that my lucky colours are actually red and white. i'm having doubts about that because on both occasions i wore those colours while playing mahjong, i've lost quite abit. however, yellow has allowed not only NOT to lose, and i even won! 10 cents.

i promised to upload photos, but my hello programme isn't working at all, yet blogger doesn't allow me to upload photos along with the written post, so here goes my empty promise. i'm sorry about that, i'll try to fix the problem asap, but with the condition that i'm free and have nothing to do..

what's on my mind? project deadlines. they're kind of wrecking me, and i think if i tide over this period of cheonging projects, i'll definitely treat myself to a session of kbox. i deserve a treat i think.. lol~ i'm trying very hard not to procrastinate, but it's tough when you do not have the strong-enough determination.. which i think i lack horridly.. :P

i'm thinking of how to make up for the loss of my top, by getting myself another one (duh!).. but i'm getting sick of all the clothes that singapore have at the moment, so when i went shopping on yesterday, i actually reduced to buying an adidas shoe bag.. -shakes head- tsk tsk tsk..

AND i've realised that ph is with fat matt already (oh i am SOOOO surprised!! -rolls eyes-).. well, i can only wish her good luck, and hope that fat matt is not as bad as i think (bad is a nice word).. and FAT MATT!! stop calling me an ah lian, take a look at yourself in a mirror before talking to me, i don't like you very much.. looking at you makes me want to look away at someTHING else instead.

enough of criticism, you're making me sound like a bad girl (:P).. today is V day yet i spent it on projects and school.. =( but i went to river hongbao with my granny and parents so it wasn't all that bad.. met kim and she seemed very happy huh?? hmm.. -ponders-

will go back to my project now, tmr is yet another long day at szeling's house for lms.. argh.

LiM|tEd AnG pOws

it's getting lesser year by year and for once, i'm more concerned with the number of ang pows, rather than the stack of colourful papers (or notes) stashed inside them.

this could only mean one two things: i'm not meeting a lot of people during the new year, or the value of money is not as important to me anymore.. but i digress for a while, i do admit that i see money as VERY IMPORTANT element of survival, especially in singapore, so the second reason does not stand at all.

it is often true that they say how much money you get from your relatives meant how much they liked you (or maybe, see you, for some cases) if that's the case, i can very much conclude that my paternal grandma dislikes me alot.. :P but i don't care. she can take as much photos with her favourite granddaughter of the century and hurl money and gold onto that 'self proclaimed princess', so long as that grandma of mine does not take any dough (or money) from me, for not only i will turn her down, i might even give that princess a tight slap if i can (think grandma will be too old for my physical abuse, finding someone younger and of my age would be much more challenging) people at my dad's side can be a pain in my arse as they give astringent remarks to your dressing, make up, hair, shoes, skin colour, nails, body hair, whatever. you name it, they curse it.

reunion dinner wasn't on over THERE, so my family had a small one among ourselves, which i very much preferred, in case i might get choked while eating and listening to THEIR daily rantings.. actually i can fairly imagine how much they loathe us, just like how much i loathe them.. it's not difficult at all.. (think cockroaches, lumps of shit and homework) so much so that we have got to be chased away and brushed aside, so that THAT princess and THAT grandma can take an intimate photo together.. sometimes, regurgitation seems too mild a reaction.

to think i was still worrying over what to wear and what not to wear on which day with which pair of earrings or which pair of slip-ons with which eyeshadow and eyeliner. actually, why bother when no one actually ever looks at you? nevertheless, i dressed up to the nines anyway, for my own recreation.. 苦中作乐.. hah, pathetic eh?

day one passed by extremely fast, the only great part was when we got to my maternal granny house.. can sleep or slack and do whatever we want.. over at THAT side, we could only be a bimbo (smile and sit up straight, eat or watch tv, giving nonchalant answers to stupid questions).. i love my maternal granny, i hate the other one. simple as that, if she can practise favouritism, so can i.

today was boring, i woke up late.. actually not really late, about 9am, but it's already VERY late in my dad's view.. dressed up and put on make up, went to some coffee shop to have breakfast, and go home.

i should have known not to put on makeup, i thought we were going visiting or wad.. damn it.

spent the afternoon playing mahjong, i've lost quite a substantial amount of money, $2.50 to be exact.. you might be thinking that i'm crazy, $2.50 isn't alot at all.. but think, every game is ten cents, i've lost at least 20 times.. :(

i'm very disturbed by the fact that i have 4 e learnings to complete this week, and a project deadline next week, which my group hasn't started at all.. trust the teachers to give us homework this week, while they are enjoying themselves and only have to mark our work next week (that's if they ever sneak a peek at it and mark it, which we will ever know).. they'll just make us do and submit, do and submit, do and submit, and the list goes on.

i just had my lunch at 2.30 and i'm having dinner soon. argh. i hate food sometimes.

will upload more pics later, i promise. :)

so long. happy new year to all peeps and enjoy your holiday!

:(

one of my fave tops got blown away by the wind (duh!) and i can't find it anywhere.

enough said.

can i curse the person whoever finds it (and keeps it) gets measles and chicken pox (all at the same time) and generates itch on her whole body for at least 3 months?

sorry but i can't help it!!!!!

WOO HOO!!!

tests are over!!!! *sings in bathroom*

lol, not a big deal, but i dun very much like the idea of me shopping around in town, yet having to worry about the coming tests.. at least now i can relax and shop till i drop.. :P

had a little 插曲 during test today, not me, but my classmate, i shan't talk much about it, because i don't believe she did it because she simply don't have the need to. i trust her and i think she's just careless. come on babe, things'll blow over really soon!

so let me think.. hmm.. what did i do today? after test, i headed straight down to town to shop, and bought cosmetic stuff.. got loreal's panoramic (i should think it's spelled like that, i have problems pronuncing it anyway) mascara for only $11.. wanna try if it works wonders for me.. bought lip gloss from body shop.. running out of them soon.. anyway it's only selling 2 for $19.90, which is equals to buy one get one free, so why miss the deal? last but not least, i got steph to join me in getting the eyeshadow as well.. they're selling one eyeshadow and one eyeliner for $19.90, i so do not want the eyeshadow (i've got no use for it) but i so do WANT the eyeliner! it's olive in colour!!! so steph bought a brown eyeshadow and i paid $10 for the eyeliner... hehe!

went to the s-11 foodcourt behind centrepoint for dinner, afterwhich we sat down and chatted.. gossiped, to be exact.. haha.. haven't been really chatting with my ah bu for a long time (in case you didn't know, steph is my artificial ah bu) :)

i had lots of careless mistakes done in micro test, but i found today's cip test relatively ok, i'm hoping for a pass.. haha..

took a number of photos today, will upload one really soon, i promise.. =>

oH mY goD yOu cUt yoUr haiR!

oh thank you! obvious isn't it? just tell me that it's nice and save the others :)

went shopping last fri, as i predicted, my premonition came through, and i met a lousy salesperson.. and i left some feedback (actually, brutally speaking, a complaint) at the chain outlet's official website.. here it goes:

"I was shopping at the Wisma outlet when i came across this extrememly rude staff, whom i think her name is *BEEP*. She was speaking to us in a very reproachful tone which i think we customers do not deserve such obnoxious attitude from your staff. It was not clear to us that the packed camisoles on sale were not allowed to be tried on except for those samples. I had already known my own fitting size so i wanted to try out the colours as i was unsure whether the white ones would be too translucent. So she saw us coming out of the fitting room with the opened packets on hand, and said very rudely, "Ms you cannot open and try unless you want to buy it" i had already decided to buy the black one, and when i was paying, she asked very loudly if i wanted to buy the white one WHICH I ALREADY OPENED. This kind of attitude is unreasonably arrogant and i was very disappointed in the kind of service that i received over there. If i hadn't tried out the new piece, i wouldn't have known that the white piece was torn at the side. This is very inappropriate for us to buy but not to try, even more so for us to receive such bad service from your staff. She even showed a black face and seemed very unhappy about it. Is she trying to force me to buy the piece that i had already opened? Are customers only allowed to try for sizes but not colours? Are we obliged to buy anything that we have opened and receive such arrogant attitude fromyour staff? This is the first time ever that i encountered such 'good' service from your staff."

Here's the reply:

"Dear Miss Koh.
Thank you for your feedback dated 30th January 2005. In response to your feedback, we have carried out the necessary investigation and we understand that our staff, *BEEP* from our *BEEP* Wisma Atria outlet, may not have communicated in the correct verbal tone. However, we wish to explain that it had never been her intention to be offensive. Corresponding to our findings, she has been briefed on the proper customer service mannerism. With regards to the trying of packed-tees, we would like to share that we do have trying pieces in our outlets, and in the event when the trying piece is not available, please feel free to approach any of our colleagues forassistance. While we do recommend that our customers check the merchandises at the point of purchase, we also recommend that they approach our shop-staff for assistance should they require any in the process of choosing the merchandise.Thank you once again for your feedback, and we apologize for any disappointment caused in the process of handling this issue."

so much for complaining, the company is still defending her. wth.

been really stoning.. so there's nothing interesting except for the fact the i actually found the stats test today fairly easy to comprehend.. surprisingly..

i was expecting to fail the test (even though it was open-book) because i knew no shit and nuts about a subject called
business statistics..

as you've noticed, there's some changes in the format of my blog.. hope you found it better and nicer.. so far i haven't received any complaints about the font of my blog (which i personally think that it might be too small for some of you) so i'll stick to the same size anyway..

thanks to rai that i've got a tag board over here.. haha.. please feel free to leave a message or comment yeah?

i'm gonna watch tv.. *stamps and stomps over my micro books* TO HELL WITH YOU!
