Dear John
Dear John - The Book
It wouldn't be the best book I've ever read, but it's definitely, by far, the book I can relate most to. Not that I've read widely ever.
Those scenes - Savannah crying into her face when John drove away leaving for army, the exhilaration both of them felt when John went back to Charleston during his leave, the urge to run at full tilt and jump into his arms at first sight - something I've always had the fucking urge to, but never got the guts to do in Singapore Changi Airport.
I didn't tear, but I caught myself nodding furiously at some points of the book, totally agreeing with Nicholas Sparks.
Dear John - The Movie
It was wonderful to see John Tyree come into life in the shape Of Channing Tatum. Extremely nice shape, I must say. Made me love John Tyree even more.
I hate that they took away the last scene where Savannah and John were staring at the full moon together, but not really together? I thought that fully reiterated the point that they were meant for each other. It was such a pity Savannah had to give up so early but never really gave up on John totally.
However, it was such a consolation that they redeemed the most pitiful part in the movie - getting them back together - something Nicholas Sparks never did in the book. I guess that's why the book's more intriguing than the movie.
I'm sorry darling, I know Ipromised made you watch the movie with me but I couldn't stand it and watched it first. But I only watched halfway and peeked at the ending. We'll still cuddle and watch, aight?

What is it like to have a migraine aura?
The flashes come on suddenly and you get cold chills down your spine. You know this is going to be for at least another 20 minutes and you start getting your things ready. You take a couple of painkillers and work your way around your aura. You can't see what you are typing and when you try to focus your sight on word A, you can't read your next word on your right. Your flashes get bigger and they form zig zag lines and moves around with your vision before finally expanding so wide, they disappear from your sight.
When the aura disappears, you know your migraine is coming in 10 minutes and you're ready to head off to bed.
Pardon me for any wrong spelling, I hve just described my current 20 minutes without any spellcheck. Good night folks.

原来下定决心是不容易的。真佩服能够做到的人。
是时候该做个选择，然后往目标前进。
没有人能够给予力量，只能靠自己。前面的路布满荆棘，这时的我绝对不能畏缩。
东风夜放花千树，
更次落，
星如雨。
宝马雕车香满路，
凤箫声动，
玉壶光转，
一夜鱼龙舞。
蛾儿雪柳黄金缕，
笑语盈盈暗香去。
众里寻他千百度，
蓦然回首，
那人却在，灯火阑珊处。

Happy New Year 2010!!!
Happy New Year 2010!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed my new year company - OTS, Wee Kian and Yan Ting. We played monopoly since 10pm and snacked on Ruffles, Lays and Pringles Soft Shell Crab. When the clock struck twelve, the blue cocktail was popped and we kind of cheered! Wee Kian, the banker, got high and started giving everyone $5000 (monopoly currency of course) and even 'Free Parking Fatimah' had a share!
So fun!

How Did It End Up Like This
It all started with my DS Lite -- a present from my sister on my 22nd birthday.
The start of pinky.
And then came the Strawberry Ice Cream Phone.
Another pink gadget
I really wonder why I chose pink when pink, obviously, isn't my favourite colour. So everyone started giving me weird questions.. and presents.
Sze would say 'Oh my god Mel! Since when you like pink?! You are an imposter! Give me my Mel back!'
Then, I started getting 'cute' presents from OTS.
It's for Xylia actually, but you get the drift..
Ahhhh, all so cute!!
