i'M aTtaChEd -- tO mIsA

i'M aTtaChEd... tO a jOb.

okay, finally a cool fool post.

it's been 2 weeks and i'm getting the hang of everything. the processes, the procedures, the physical environment AND the people.

i'm assigned to the billing department so naturally i deal with alot of invoices and the invoices come from different quoters and operators so naturally i deal with alot of people. and when you deal with alot of people, you realise that either you like them, or don't.

the procedure of getting a sale from a customer to getting a customer to pay for her air tickets is LONG. and you have to get them done in a SHORT time. so we're always meeting deadlines constantly, which is good, because time passes REAL FAST. awesome. and did you ever know that there's a place on earth called Bandung? isn't that a pink drink that is to be drank, not gone?

i have a senior, who is a NYP student, has been there 3 weeks earlier than me and will be leaving one week later than me, which means their attachment is 11 weeks long. thank gawd ours is one whole month shorter. he's a nice person and is very patient when i ask too many questions, so much so that i feel paiseh. so i always turn to him for help because he is the one teaching me and my supervisor does nothing in teaching as she herself is busy as well. see how clever the company is? they get attachment students to teach new attachment students. no real manpower wasted and freaking cheap labour. and i heard that there's a new batch of TP students coming in april, it will THEN be MY turn to teach them. awwww.

the company's made up of singaporean malays and malaysian chinese. kinda ironic yeah? and most of malaysian people are rude i tell you. i mean MOST, not ALL. get the facts right before those don't-know-who start complaining then suing then yada yada yada. the colleagues that i have are either very nice, or very bad. everyone has their own ass to save so it's best to be fast and accurate and not make any mistakes. it's a bonus if you have a good memory because your colleagues will always ask you about something so trivial that you can't believe that you even have to remember that.

one particular colleague was so FUCKED UP i tell you. i went around checking tickets (it's one of the procedures) so i asked "anyone still have tickets?!" then this particular colleague said "i pass to YJ already" which i replied "yeah i know." (anyway YJ is my that senior) so that colleague said "i never say how you know?" i rolled my eyes at her.

"because he told me already."

which was true. YJ told me when i was going into the office.

you see? there is this certain kind of people who will try ways and means to make things difficult for everyone. this is the kind of people who will just spoil a person's day. nevertheless, i make myself clear and apparently i'm not the only one who dislikes her.

yes it's a her. the company has a female working environment.

to someone: he's just a colleague. boo.

and for lunch times it's never lonely cos i alway lunch with the NYP kids (thanks to YJ who considerately introduced me to the fellow students there on my first day of work) and that hour is always filled with grumblings, complaints, and laughter. we always think of where to go for lunch and come back to office all looking like bloated balloons! but sometimes we eat up our lunch hour by working so we have only about half an hour left and we tried to gorge our food so we still came back looking like bloated baboons with balloons! they are always funny, and we always talk about tammy! (hey that rhymes!)

it's really once in a green moon when i can clocked out exactly at 6pm. sometimes so late that someone got PISSED and walked away. really not my fault ain't it? boo. but the starting time is great, 9am. it only takes about 25 minutes to get to my work place. i wake up at 7.30, take a 8.15 bus and reach there at about 8.40. STILL EARLY. so what so i do? get to office and do my daily routine --- shit. yes it has got to be in that colour so that all of you can feel the impact, the shioked impact.

AND AND AND!! dress code is CASUAL! all acceptable except no shorts and berms! by right, slippers are a no-no. by left, who cares?!

so does anybody know what to do with the e-logbook? i'm getting the freaks that i'm missing out on anything important that i'm supposed to fill up but didn't! someone fill the details in please!

weekends are for shopping, food and fun! =) but sometimes, it turns out to be otherwise. hurhur!

those are my cjc peeps when i bumped into them!

aight i'm off to tv! and someone's supposed to call me! so let's wait and see yeah? hur.

there are people that you don't have to be courteous and be patient with.
