Letting Go


I thought it would be very difficult to ask for permission from my parents so that I can visit OTS in Perth this coming August. After all, I went only just last November.

However, all it took was one sentence (and it wasn't even a question) : 'Pa, I'm going to Perth in August. I will book my air ticket tomorrow.'

And his reply was 'Do you have enough leave?'

A 'yes' and all was settled. Subsequently, I asked Wee Kian if he wanna join me and couple that with very cheap airfares, two tickets were booked the next day.

Ahhhhh, the freedom of a working adult. But of course, all expenses paid.
