first things first, i went to the IT Fair with Kian and yes, i managed to pay off my short term debt, which is, buying back a camera in replacement for the one that i lost! it's Canon Ixus 60 and here's how it looks like:

the closest version of my lost Canon Ixus 50, with similar chargers and batteries! in addition, it came with one 2GB SD and one 1GB SD, an additional battery and a leather case. Also, my mum cut out a coupon from the newspapers which allowed us to redeem ANOTHER 1GB SD!
and a few days later, because Mavis is a member of the Gr8 Pal, she got a voucher in the mailer stating that if she bought any Canon Digital Ixus or SLR camera, she is allowed to redeem YET ANOTHER 512MB SD at the Canon Headquarters at Harbourfront! hahaha so we went ahead to redeem, brought our receipts and all, and the guy at the counter, thinking that we haven't got our accessories (meaning the 2nd battery etc), then he got us ONE MORE 1GB SD, a third battery and a second camera cleaning kit. haha! with so many additional free gifts, $499 for a digital camera isn't too expensive after all!
then after careful consideration, i got Dad to buy me this laptop which costs $1399 nett, a Compaq Presario with Model Number I-Don't-Know-What. hahaha i'll let the picture do the talking:

with Windows Vista, yes the graphics and colours are better, but i've also sent in the laptop for repairs for 2 times, cos the switch cover of the speakers was faulty and the second time was a mistake in the settings which led to no sounds from the speakers when i was trying to play some song (most probably a Jay Chou number i guess).
and the Canon Selphy Photo Printer was unable to print from my laptop and it took me 2 trips to the Customer Service Centre to realise that I had to download a new driver from the website for Windows Vista in order for the printer to be able to print from my laptop. zzz.
Oh! dad applied for Mio Plan and i now have wireless! okay i think i said this before but all these features complement my laptop very well woohoo! plus the canon printer working and printing fine, nothing can be better!
on a totally irrelevant note, i went shopping with mummy and got myself a little black frock form Zara! yay very happy that i have my black frock with me! it's big and airy and ventilating and allows me to act like a pregnant lady without fail! next time, i'm gonna wear that to buffets and i can eat like a pig and still not show off my fat tummy! =D
oh and tzyy horng got me a job as an insurance promoter at the NATAS and it sure paid us well! luckily i asked sze if she wants the job as well and we were very happy that we can earn enough money to cover our expenses! haha! some of the colleagues there were very nice and i certainly do not mind going back there to work part time again!
like kenneth, i also started work at the Esplanade as a butler (i actually applied for a kitchen helper initially -___-) and we went for the recruitment drive in school and guess what, out of a possible 100 persons in the lecture hall, kenneth and I were the first two to be recruited when all we did was to raise our hands to the question posted by the boss "who can commit full-time for the next two months at least?" haha but after going for training for the next day and knowing our full job scope, i chickened out and opted for a part-time schedule instead. Butlering is so tiring! besides the boss is so URGH and i don't particularly enjoy working there.. but ultimately, money's the motivation. shrugs. luckily i have sze and kenneth with me over there.. if not work's gonna be such a fuck drag.
look what they had to do to us, and they call it grooming. who actually cares if butlers look good or not?!
if you can't see properly, they actually scattered gold glitter on our HAIR and FACE. got so glam anot? wah lao.
Oh my parents came back from Taiwan and they bought us FOOD!! yummy!
look baby! do you see your tie dan over there?? haha!!
okay now something for you all to laugh at:
well i gotta go off for my dinner! it's 89 more days to baby coming back! wheee!
