it occurred to me last night that, it is really no matter how much effort you put in, does not equate to how much you GET.

i was sooooo pissed off doing my EC site, and up to the last 5 minutes before the presentation, the Order Confirmation page is still not fucking working. We finished most of the workshops earlier and i see no reason why we needed to rush out everything AGAIN till 12am last night, and meet up earlier to continue doing it. so screwed up.

MEGA SIGHS. but we still got until today 12am to complete the whole thing and get it working, before sending the URL to our tutor.

and so today, wednesday, we met up at around 11am to start re-doing the Order Confirmation page. great, everything was going well. EVERYTHING WORKED. we got on to add some more words to make the whole thing look better, changed our logo to a nicer one and tidied up the rest of the pages. everything was going on so smoothly that we were elated.

and at 3pm today, HELL HAPPENED. the pages started to fail one by one, starting with the new account page being unable to create a new account, then unable to log in, then unable to view the products pages and suddenly able to view again. WHAT THE HELL. i never felt so infuriated handling computers stuff before. not even when my com crashed the other time. not even when i lost alot of pictures, documents and not to mention the 1000+ songs.

it's like you put in so much effort into it, only to get it failed and failed, not knowing WHAT WENT WRONG. we started smoothly, got into a pitfall, climbed up again, only to find that we're stepping right into another pitfall.

to make matters worse, during presentation, our tutor kind of blamed us for not looking her up when the problem occurred. hey please, the problem occurred at 4pm on monday, we asked so many people to help us. and we re-did the WHOLE site at 10pm, finished at about 12am. what do you expect? there was still linking to be done, designing, restructuring, i was so pissed that i did flare up a lil' on monday. i really wanted to give up. on tuesday, problems still occurred. so as you can see, presentation was screwed up.

and today, sze re-did the shopping cart and order confirmation page. everything was purrrrrrfect. it just have to get so bad that so many pages SUDDENLY stop functioning. we saw rui and yang so we sought their help. they were unable to help so they gave us our tutor's number. but we called and called and waited till 6pm and she was still uncontactable. WE GIVE UP and sent her an email telling her our problems and hope that she can rectify them together with us as soon as possible.

sighs. EC is a fucked up module, i tell you.

i'm gonna stop touching dreamweaver and access for a long while.
