iiiii aammmm bbbbbbbbaaaaaaaaaaccckkk!!
gawd, i was never this happy typing a post! =D
a couple of reasons to be happy! and i really mean A COUPLE!!
first) it's my bloody birthday!!!
last) my com's fine!! and i'm the one who fixed it! so i can BLOG! =D
well of course, since i WAS the one who kind of ruined it. hehe. i merely entered a windows update website, and it auto-downloaded Window Installer 3.1. not that i need it though, but it slowed everything down, and changed all my settings. i changed it back afterwards, but when i restarted the com countless times, it reverted back to the default settings, that is, think: blue toolbar, THAT grassland wallpaper, and there wasn't any 'My Computer' icon on my desktop. well, in my case, it was 'My Stupid Computer'. hee~
then i tried asking loads of people for help, even offering to pay them! haha, but to no avail. they had no idea. so i sat in front of the com for the whole of today, not a very nice way to spend my actual birthday though. haha. so, i managed to uninstall that bloody programme, tried to defrag, but figured that it would take a damn long time. so, i tried the system restore, and turned back time back to friday, when my com had NOT auto-downloaded the bloody programme.. and HEY PRESTO!! everything's FINE! YIPPEE!! hehee!! wonders such restoration programmes can do!
and now, on a lighter note, went shopping with happy nicole on saturday!! hehe, haven't shopped like that for eons.. bought lotsa of stuff and was just happy spending money. victorious items: a handbag, a pair of earrings, pants and a top. oh well, i guess it's just some kind of basic instinct of me. retail therapy does work, at times. then kit came down to meet us (for a purpose! >.<) and we shopped around at PS.. hurhur, nicole and i had been shopping from 2pm all the way to 9pm when she left to meet her fren, then kit decided to treat me eat earthquake! yay!! FOOD! never fails to excite me. haha, oh, and did i mention that i met christopher like 3 times in a day? outside cafe cartel, inside swensen's and at the bus stop! haha!
had to wake up early on sunday coz dad wanted to go over to the temples in the morning.. so was quite tired.. and my family kind of celebrated my birthday in advance on sunday, coz dad was going over to malaysia on tues. haha, and guess what we ate for lunch! yes, swensen's again! =.= but i had salmon and mushroom baked rice this time round, and it was *slurp slurp*! haha.. and then, i ate earthquake for the second time in less than 24 hours!! gawd. but still it was nice! HAHA! and i had a sumptuous dinner too! =D
then went to school on monday for only one lecture.. zzz.. but anthea, sze, gab, clem, th and nicole celebrated my birthday.. went over to marina square.. and thai food at LerkThai (i have no idea why i always call it JerkThai.. in fact i find it easier to call it that!), had green curry, tomyam soup, kailan, soft shell crab and some chicken which i forgot. HAHA. then i simply had the sudden urge to eat fondue.. so we walked over to andersen's to check out the prices, and that was when we realised that esplanade was a stone's throw away, and tionghian MIGHT BE working on that day!! hehe, so we strolled over (by this time, nicole arrived with her NEW fren =P).. haagen daz was FULL.. we could not see tionghian anyway, so we had to leave our contact numbers behind so that the staff could call us when there were sufficient seats for like, 8 of us? then we visited Chocz and that clever salesman, he's a student from ngee ann too, made us buy 2 packets of marshmallows dipped in hot chocolate fudge from him.. apparently he knows tionghian too, and told us that he just reported for work like half an hour ago? YIPPEE! BIG SCOOPS OF ICE CREAM!! hehehee.
and just nice, when we finished buying the chocs, the staff at haagen daz called us.. so we got back and
it was so filling that we were quite seh after eating that, so we slacked on the couch and crapped a little.. then we walked outside to watch some performances, apparently in celebration of my birthday! ^.^ CORRECTION, our DEAR SINGAPORE'S birthday. so the performers were in these red tight fitting costumes and you can blatantly see their, -ahems-! gab was high after seeing them! LOL. the females are fine, the males are
okie, i digressed. *laughs*
WOOHOO!! time for besties! i miss them so much. -sighs- there's like really no time to go out with them, but HEY! that was the time to celebrate! hehe, so met peck and steph aka ah bu, and strolled over to newton hawker centre. an uncle got a seat for us.. you think he so good? he wanted us to patronise his stall. hurhur.. plopped our butts down and deciding what to eat. this time, it was FAST. BUT, hell, we could not order yet, coz pj was not here yet!! AH!! where were you! worked for so long! i wanted to eat supper!! and THAT uncle kept creeping up behind us and stared at us; he wanted us to order. we laughed it off and told him one more member wasn't here yet. and you know what he did? he gave the 3 of us big plates, but gave pj a pathetic small one. LOL. he growled, "ask her to pay for you all later." HAHAHA.
finally pj came and our food were almost cold. -_- had chilli crab, sambal sotong, sambal kangkong, stingray, chicken wings and fried rice! spicy food rocks! YUM YUM. and they bought a cake for me and it was around 12am while i blew the only candle.. it was a small cake you see, haha! but i ate it anyway, =P nicey nicey. after that peck felt like shitting, we told her to use the public toilets over there, but she declined.. said that it stank. LOL. so she took cab home just to SHIT. =.= then the rest of us were at a loss because we don't know where to go or what to do. going to kbox would be a waste of money, expensive rates and short hours. so we walked to the shell station and wanted to buy ice cream
then woke up at 9.30am coz besties wanted to go home already.. =D then i went back to sleep all the way till 12pm.. before i woke up and started spending my beloved birthday stoning in front of my com, and began to ponder just WHAT WENT WRONG with it.. which linked this topic back to the first few paragraphs.. =)
argh, the test yesterday was sucky, i only studied a few hours before the test. so i expected THAT kind of outcome, but we shall see for the results yeah? =X driving today.. instructor said i was not bad and i got to drive the car home today because he was going to tan tock seng again! plus i discovered something, my instructor has up to Class 5 licenses and can teach people how to drive a LORRY! gawd. i told him to go get a license for driving yachts and speedboats. he said it's easy, but he don't want. i asked him why, HAHA, it's BECAUSE he has a phobia for water! he does not know how to swim! LOL. and he's scared of seas and oceans.. nono, according to him, he just DISLIKES seas and oceams.. haha, next time i can threaten him.. "ONE MORE WORD FROM YOU, I'LL THROW YOU INTO THE SEA WITH YOUR CAR!" ^.^ *sniggers*
sigh, tomorrow another test, ECD. drats. don't even know what they're going to test on, but i expect lotsa memorising. gotta hit the books really soon! and i need to get to school for HRM presentation due next week! which reminds me, our BLAW presentation is due next tues! damn, 2 presentations consecutively, one after another. i hate it!
