the woes of having too little money on hand, resulted in walking round and round (in fact, many times) Sim Lim Square, scouting the best bargains Kian and i could find, for our respective desired purchases. and to think i thought i secured a fairly good deal of a Canon Ixus 60, selling at $310 (good-buy, best-buy, must-buy!) while others are retailing at $390-$420, only to find out after a second walk-in into the shop, that the bloody camera is a second-handed commodity! what a cheat of my feelings (hyperventilating initial excess excitement)! and it certainly didn't help when the shop owner looked like the old NKF's TT Durai (or is it Dulai?).. speaks alot about the impression huh!
but luckily, the walking was useful when we chanced upon a warehouse-like shop, selling Logitech webcam at only $29! man, the range of prices for the exact SAME model varies from $32 to $49. and $29 is by far the cheapest that i managed to see. now that i have settled on the price, the brand-choosing is such a headache. another shop retails Creative webcam at only $28 and what attracted me was its Multi-base stand, which can be used on desktops AND laptops.

because of it's GREEN packaging and..
Number One! can't be that bad, right?
